I have bought a number of light fixtures for a gut renovation of my home, and got this for the entryway. For a basic light, it's ok. It wasn't too difficult to install myself and is better than the bare bulb which it replaced. That said, the metal looks really cheap if you look at it closely, and after having it hang over my doorway for a few months, I wish I'd spent $400 for a premium quality light fixture (e.g., a hubbardton forge).
