This heater really works well, especially as there are two heat settings, and the heat comes out the bottom of the unit (to warm your feet and legs) instead of out the top. The heater is easily movable from room to room and is freestanding. But I have it installed in my fireplace. The fire effect is a bit heavy on the logs and a bit light on the flames, but it is really a very neat heater! I'm very happy with this item, and highly recommend it!
