Re the A716R by Aero Pure--Qualifications: Licensed Elect. 1982(Calif), 2009(S.Carolina) - I've installed a lot of ceiling fans/heaters/etc.Pros: Can't beat it for the price. Following this review the purhase price magically rose over $100 on Amazon's listing. I would now call it 'pricy'.However, the owners love the clean look.Although no literature mentions it, it DOES have a vent fan. It can be wired for up to 4 separate controls--2-2 lamp switches (or 1-4 lamp),center lamp and vent fan. It has an attractive appearance & includes 2 stacked rocker switches and a 2-gang labelled switch cover. Total power consumption is 1160 watts (using 4-270 watt lamps, center 60 watt and fan. Once you have installed the 1st the next will take about half the time.Cons: The following comments apply ONLY to a retrofit install. Don't be in a hurry and check access from above-important!The white plastic trim should have been manufactured 1 inch larger. I.E., if a squared hole is cut, you may see an @ 1/4" gap past the rounded corner trim that is the trim kit. If you want a neat and clean install,cut a 12.125" by 12.25" but round the corners.P.S.--the fan noise is acceptably quiet.Other: the duct is a 4" diameter--go out and buy 1 or 2--4" adjustable elbows-depending upon where you plan to duct the air. HD has them cheap.When installing and to keep the mess contained, I use a Dremel tool with the carbide blade. I follow my pencil marks in conjunction with a vacuum cleaner. NO dust on anything. The customer will never know how much clean-up I have saved them! Tom
