I've looked at many fireplace doors that cost as much as three to four times more than these but were not the quality of the Pleasant Hearth. They arrived very well packaged against damage and had instructions that were easy to follow and understand. From unpacking to finish it took about 2 or 3 hours of unhurried work to put everything together without anyone needed to help. Fit and finish of the fireplace doors were excellent. The beveled glass of the bay window style doors give the unit a unique, expensive look. I would not hesitate to recommend this item to anyone interested in glass fireplace doors and screens. Amazon did a great job getting the product to me on time and at a good price. My problem was with the installation. Do the size requirements, I needed to do the alternate installation procedure. This involved drilling two holes in the thick metal piece at the top of the hearth. Obviously, this was going to be tough to drill so I purchased the best drill bit (size 7/32 per the instructions) available for my electric drill. I did not appreciate how difficult it was going to be to do this job. It took over an hour on my back straining to drill through this tough metal. The big problem came when I tried to install the product using the bolts(1/4 ") provided by Pleasant Hearth. Both bolts went in too easily and were never able to provide a tight enough grip to hold the product in place. Even worse, when I removed one of the bolts, it broke off in the hole and I wasn't able to get the broken part in the hole out.I took the other bolt to a local hardware store and discovered that the bolts were slightly smaller than the standard 1/4 inch self treading screws they sold. I purchased a set of new bolts and returned home. After drilling another hole for the side with the broken bolt, I was finally able to install the glass door assembly. Two little bolts manufactured with inferior materials and not to proper size tolerance turned my two hour installation job into a five hour ordeal. If you purchase this product, I would recommend that you discard the bolts they provide and purchase proper materials at your local hardware store.

These doors are great! The beveled glass is lovely and really adds to the look. The bi-fold glass doors open & close easily and the magnet on both the glass doors and the screen doors are a real plus, so easy to open & close, nice for cleaning. The finish is nice and the color is true. Easy installation, too. Be sure to measure before you buy, so you get the correct size. You can check them out at the box stores, but save yourself some money and buy through Amazon. Delivery is always right on time, usually sooner. A lovely item for not a lot of money
