I picked this fan purely because of its modern grille - I did not find any alternative in that style. When the contractor installed it, there was a part missing, and the manufacturer quickly shipped it to my house. Now that it is installed and running, it looks beautiful. However, to my surprise it is not particularly quiet. And when it's windy outside, I can hear what sounds like a metal flap banging around inside of it.
