My furnace is older than dirt-- I'm amazed this is available from anybody-- This is THE factory replacement draft inducer for my unit. That and outstanding service from CSH in Franklin Park ILL.. A-175 arrived in 2 days and we were up and running in a matter of minutes after arrival!!! Before I removed old unit I marked the black and orange wire on the right(looking at leads coming out of the motor...I Cut 12 Inch leads and marked the black and orange with tape on leads that are still attached to furnace.. Install new motor-- cut leads to length --skin back a half inch-- twist together and wire nut...

I manage an apartment building so I've had my share of heater repairs. I've learned that the most common cause of a non functional heater is either a thrown breaker or a bad inducer fan. After paying for the hvac guy to provide and replace the blower multiple times, I've finally figured out that I can just buy and replace it myself for a fraction of the cost!As far as dependability of the fan, I have a rather low standard. The hvac units in my building run almost non-stop because of the area they cover. This fan gets me through at least a couple winters at a time so I'm satisfied.

The draft inducer motor on my furnace went out, leaving me with out heat during a Michigan winter. I found several places where I could order the needed motor, prices from as high as $495 down to $158. I ordered through Amazon from KTOOLCONNECTION on Thursday Feb 9 an 9:30am, paying extra for 2 day shipping for a total of $183. Today (Friday, Feb 10) at 2:15 pm, I recieved my motor---I had heat by 3:00pm.I want to thank both Amazon and KTOOLCONNECTION and will most certainly would recommend both to anyone needing parts quickly.
