I've just installed this winch on my wife's Jeep. It differs slightly from the picture, but in a good way. The frame of the roller fairlead is painted gloss black. The positive and negative leads are already connected to the winch, and the positive lead has red insulation on the full length of the lead. The supplied controller looks nicer than the one in the picture; it looks like a Superwinch 2272 controller. Superwinch 2272 Handheld RemoteI like the following so far:fast unloaded line speedwinch control connector is on the driver's sidewell written manualI don't like the following:It is designed to not disengage the brake while powering out. The manual recommends not powering out for long distances due to the heat generated on the drum from the brake.

My Superwinch S9000 has less AMP draw and pulls with ease. You can pull at night without turning the lights off. The install was very easy! The winch is also better sealed than all the other winches out there! I love this winch way better than my previous $$$$ winch. I plan on buying another one for my next Jeep.
