We have two of the smaller sconces on our gate posts and want to add two of the larger ones to our front porch arches. The light is sufficient for front entrance lighting for guests when combined with the overhead lantern on the porch. The look of the sconces by themselves is very soft and adds an architectural look to the wall. I smile whenever I view them from the street. Our home is stucco, southwestern style and they blend perfectly. We advocate dark skies lighting and these are perfect. They serve our purpose without blinding the house whose view includes the front of our house.
