Let me start by saying that I have always been a fan of Warn. My first winch (13 years ago) was an M8000, I put that thing through its paces for several years until I wold the truck and the winch. This year I put together a new truck, and began doing my research, at first I was inclined to go with what I had already had in the past, since it never let me down, but the Winch market has grown so much the past years and gotten so diverse that in my opinion, there is no saying which one is the Best..... the best winch is going to be the one that best suits You for Your application.. I had set my Winch budget to $800, and that is where my search began. I liked that T-Max is an Australian brand, and when I compared the spec sheets on the T-Max winch and compared to the competition, It was pretty obvious to me that I was getting alot more Winch for the money when going with the T-Max, the wireless remote makes for very safe use and works perfect, the Torque limiter protects the winch from serious damage, and so far this thing has pulled me through everything and anything without a hiccup. I use this in 100 degree weather and have had no overheating problems with it, Ive also used it under water and it performed with no problems, the test of time will tell how awesome this Winch really is, but so far... Ive had 0 problems and no regrets going with the T-Max instead of the W.
