Before my 2000sq ft metal shop was unuseable much of the winter. Now at 26 degrees outside, it is a nice 70 inside. I had it professionally installed as I did not want to take a chance with running the gas lines. Also it is mounted about 12 ft above the floor. At my age that is a bit high for me to be on a ladder with 45 lbs of heater. I would reccomend installing a thermostat along with the heater. This keeps my shop from ever getting below freezing.
