I bought this ladder from a local retailer. It is light and very strong. I am 6 foot 6 and weigh 285lbs. This ladder has no trouble handling my size. I am a contractor and will only purchase Louisville Ladder!

Amazon Prime's excellent deal on free shipping to commercial addresses saved me $260 on this ladder! How many years of Amazon Prime membership is that?!? Brought by LTL carrier to the commercial address where I work the driver easily unloaded and placed the ladder alongside the building for me.I see the related reviews are for the twelve foot model so I will be as thorough as possible with my continuing review. With six tie-downs and a red flag for the back I was able to secure the 93 pound ladder to the roof rack of the Toyota Sienna van and get it home without incident. After spending much of Saturday at or near the top of the ladder drilling, wrenching, and leveling I have to say that it is every bit as sturdy and stable as Loiusville claims. For those of you who have concerns about storage, I will be building a fence rack for the ladder tomorrow and I will include a set of measurements here to close out the review.

I realized the ladder was too tall as soon as it came. It took the company who handles returns 3 days to get authorization from Louisville Ladders to return it. Although they'd issued a return authorization number which had to be written on the ladder, in order to get a refund I had to also fax them proof of delivery to Louisville Ladder's own warehouse. That was over 2 weeks ago, still no credit on my AmEx.
